Challenges in online learning of English as a foreign language during the COVID-19 pandemic: Students’ perspective at Ajman University, UAE

The purpose of this paper was to explore the challenges online learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) during spread COVID-19 from students' perspective at Ajman University, UAE. study used descriptive approach. A questionnaire consisting 26-items distributed random sample (282) students different colleges who were studying courses pandemic. SPSS software analyze collected data. results indicated that University regarding pandemic came high level, with an overall arithmetic mean 3.54 and standard deviation 0.84. Students' responses varied by gender (in favor female students) academic year first students). Additionally, student evaluation (SAE) variable did not show statistical significance. findings deeper understanding instructors' perspectives experiences language is required. Likewise, developing EFL skills also requires blended recommended more concerning challenges.
